Facebook is a slow-going social media site that has a lot of people that are willing to help you grow. As an author, writer, creator, anyone you desire to be. There is are Facebook groups for everyone. Just like my discussion on Pinterest Writing Boards last month I will be discussing my favorite Facebook writing groups.
Today, I want to introduce you to some awesome Facebook groups that have been great for me. Many of the group members are supportive and helpful and going through the same things as you. So it’s a great place to meet fellow authors. I have met many of my author friends in Facebook groups. You can also meet other blogging friends and interact in a space that is unique to your niche.
Some of the Facebook groups are open to the public while others are closed groups. Closed groups mean you need to answer a few questions before being accepted into the group. Let me tell you about some of the great Facebook groups that I’m in and are perfect for writers.

Books/ARCs for Review
This group is perfect if you want to get reviewers for your book. Just post some information and people will comment if they’re interested. You do have to apply to be part of this closed group.
The Indie Writer’s BrownieBreak
This closed group is such a supportive forum to talk to other indie authors. Everyone is so sweet and the group is pretty active.
Young Adult Authors & Young Adult Bloggers Unite
This is a public group that blends both authors and bloggers together. Perfect for promoting your work and interacting with the book blogging community.
Writers and Authors Promotions
This group is perfect if you’re looking to promote your work. It’s also a public group.

Facebook has been the best support system I’ve had for my writing. Support systems are what makes writing doable. 😊
Great idea to share the helpful groups you’ve found. I shall check out a couple of them. Though I’m not all that active on Facebook, I would like to do more.
Facebook is a good source especially with the groups. I actually find that Facebook brings pretty good activity to my blog which is very nice. I hope you find them useful!
