Being a Writer on Etsy – A Discussion

0 Comments on Being a Writer on Etsy – A Discussion

Being a writer means having yourself in many places where people can find you. Finding the place you want to be can be hard, but sticking with it is key. I struggled a long time with how to sell signed copies of my work. The option is obviously not available on a print-on-demand site like Amazon. So when I decided to create resources for writers, I knew that what better place to have my work than Etsy!

I’ve been on Etsy since May 2022. I’ve made 1 sale. Now that may seem low, but I see it as a start. Not everyone knows about finding signed books and printable resources off of Etsy. It takes a lot of word of mouth to get the word out there.

Do I wish I’ve sold more? Of course!

I know that I’m just getting started. As my shop grows in products, I will be able to reach more people. It won’t be easy, but I have hope that the items I have to offer are greatly beneficial to all.

Currently I have my two Young Adult books, Not Like Everyone Else and The Stranger I Knew signed paperback editions for sale. I also have my comprehensive 20 page, Book Marketing Plan available for download.
