Lately, shorter works have been calling to me. I haven’t had the attention to read longer books, so this poetry collection came at the perfect time.

The Flow of Life is a mix between short and long free verse poems. It also includes short ramblings of inner thoughts from the author.

I love how sweet and inspiring this poetry collection is. It focuses on life, love, and loving yourself and right now it’s something I really need to hear. I found this collection to be relatable and honest.

Although The Flow of Life is relatable, I didn’t feel too much emotion. The longer thoughts from the author shined with emotion, but the poems themselves did not.

The Flow of Life is a sweet and inspiring poetry collection. It causes you to think about life in a unique way. I love the free verse style used as well as the author’s own longer passages to convey the message of the collection. I look forward to reading more by Liis Lõhmus.
