From your phone or on any device that has sound, you’re able to continue your daily chores while devouring books. Unlike my journey with the Not Like Everyone Else audiobook, this journey was a lot easier. Call it experience, but I had a much easier time with the development and release of The Stranger I Knew Audiobook. It is for sale now through Audible or you can reach out to me as I have a limited number of US and UK Audible codes for a free copy.
After going through this process the first time for my debut Not Like Everyone Else, I had a much clearer idea of what to expect this time around. I used my Amazon ACX Audiobook post as a guideline.
November 2019
As I was waiting for the final files of the Not Like Everyone Else audiobook, I submitted The Stranger I Knew for auditions. A few people auditioned, but I ended up finding someone that would be the perfect narrator.
January 2020
Being that this was a much shorter book, my narrator sent me the completed files for me to review. I spent the about a week to listen to the files for inaccuracies. During this time, I also created the audiobook cover.
February 2020
After learning that it takes at least 30 days to have an audiobook reviewed before it can be released, I submitted my approval. Only 2 weeks passed before The Stranger I Knew audiobook released into the world!
There was a lot going on at the time of this audiobook release. I really wanted Not Like Everyone Else to be my debut audiobook so much so that I didn’t take the time to promote this one. In hindsight I know this wasn’t a smart move.
The narrator for The Strange I Knew Audiobook is the wonderful Giselle M. Chatelain! She really makes Angie come to life in this audiobook.

I’m so excited that both of my books are available as audiobooks. It has been a journey that I’m glad to have taken this year. It’s been a big learning experience, but one that was worth it.
