The end of the year is in a few days and I’m feeling optimistic about the year ahead. There has been many ups and downs, but to be here and talking with my readers has been amazing. So now it’s time for me to brag about my accomplishments over the past year and the goals I have for the year ahead.

Accomplishments of 2022

Started posting consistently again on Bound to Writing

After over a year break, I thought I may not be able to go back to blogging consistently again. I’m so happy that it wasn’t the case. Almost a year later and here I am, sharing my information with the internet.

Finished writing Speaking the Truth of Family

I started writing this book before my hiatus in 2020. To have not only come back but to finish writing it is something I’m so proud of.

Found out I’m Pregnant

My second little one will be here sometime within the next month!

Started the BoundtoWriting Etsy Shop

I never thought I’d have started my own Etsy shop, but there was so much information that I just couldn’t share through here that I wanted available to everyone. Signed copies of my books, printable book marketing guides, and printable guides for writers are all available for anyone that is interested.

Published Speaking the Truth of Family

On December 13, 2022 I released Speaking the Truth of Family as a paperback and eBook. To see my book go from start to finish this year has been wonderful.

Started writing Book Two for the Speaking the Truth series

Not only did I finish book one, but I’ve made a ton of progress on book two of the series. I don’t have much information to share about this one, but draft one is well underway.

Goals 2023

Continue to Post Consistently on Bound to Writing

I’m going to be trying my best to continue posting consistently. Though with baby 2’s arrival it may be a little iffy for the beginning part of the year.

Finish writing Book Two for the Speaking the Truth series

This is the biggest to-do on my list next year. But the characters are much rougher than from Speaking the Truth of Family so we will see how it goes.

Add Products to the BoundtoWriting Etsy Shop

I have a few more ideas I’d love to make into products for other writers to enjoy. I also hope to be able to get more traction in my shop this year.

Continue to Create Relationships with my Readers

My favorite part about blogging has been connecting with other people. I’ve been knee-deep in publishing my book that I haven’t had the opportunity to get back out there, but hopefully I can do a better job next year.

In the end, I’m proud of everything I was able to do over the last year. It’s been a lot of work, but I love the challenge. I can’t wait to see what next year brings.
