Current Read:

Pen & Xander – Laekan Zea Kemp

I read about this cute YA romance book over at Karen Jo’s blog Sincerely Karen Jo. I thought it sounded so cute and I had just finished First Came Forever by Annie Woods (click for review) so I was looking for more romance. There isn’t much to say about this one yet as I just started reading this one today.

Recently Finished:

When Dimple Met Rishi Sandhya MenonWhen Dimple Met Rishi – Sandhya Menon

This book took me for a loop! I really thought that I wasn’t going to be able to finish this one until it got good. Really good. It has all the quirks of a YA contemporary and I really enjoyed reading this one. I already have my review posted, so you can check that out here.

Fallout Ellen HopkinsFallout (Crank #3)- Ellen Hopkins

This is the third book in the Crank series. I read the previous two books years ago but never got the

chance to read this one. Well, I’ve read it and it was an interesting perspective for the last book of this trilogy. It has some good elements and some bad. Overall, I was hoping for a better conclusion to this book. My full review of this one will be posted on Friday, so make sure to be following me to check it out!

Uncaged Wallflower Extended Edition – Jennae Cecelia

I’m on a roll this week! I also finished this poetry collection. I reviewed the original book here and absolutely loved it! When this one came out, I had to get it. It has the same poems that I loved in the original, plus tons of new artwork and poems that I enjoy. My review of this poetry collection will be up soon, so check back to see my thoughts!

Up Next:

Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsHarry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – J.K. Rowling

Keeping with my monthly goal of reading one Harry Potter book a month, I will be reading the second book in the series next. I can’t wait to continue this series.

What have you read this week? Let me know in the comments below!

    1. It’s actually my first read through, but I’m so excited to be reading the series. It has been a different experience than the movie and it’s great!

  1. Good to hear you enjoyed When Dimple Met Rishi! I’m looking forward to read that one this year. And enjoy your HP read! Happy reading. 🙂

  2. Ooh, I’ve been planning on doing a Harry Potter re-read and one book a month sounds like a good way to do it. Pen & Xander does sound like a very cute read!

  3. Yea! I see Dimple – you know I agree with you there. I am in awe of your pacing of Harry Potter. I am embarrassing when it comes to reading through series I adore and they may as well be in one volume. It is great that you are slowly enjoying them. Happy reading!

    1. If I read them all at once I would probably be bored from being in the world constantly. I need variety when I’m reading.

  4. Congrats on finishing several books! Is this your first time through the Harry Potter series or a reread? Either way I hope you enjoy them – that series had a very big (good) impact on me growing up.
Thanks for visiting my WWW post and happy reading!

  5. I love the cover for Pen & Xander! Glad to see that you liked When Dimple Met Rishi. I am doing a buddy read next month for it and I can’t wait to finally read it. I love the Harry Potter series. I really need to do a reread of it ASAP!

    1. The cover is very awesome. I hope you enjoy When Dimple Met Rishi as much as I did. I’m excited to be reading the Harry Potter series for the first time this year! It’s going to be so much fun! 😊

    1. The synopsis is what drew me in for this one! Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be sure to check out your post! 😊

  6. Pen and Xander – I like the title (I might be biased as my youngest is called Xander). Is this the first time you will have read the Harry Potter book?

    1. I love the title too!
Yes it is! I read the first book the beginning of this month and I plan on reading the second one soon! I hope to complete the series by the end of the year! ☺
