It’s A Wrap! November 2017

9 Comments on It’s A Wrap! November 2017

November flew by! I can’t believe there is only one month left until 2018. I’m shocked at how fast this month went especially for NaNoWriMo.

For those of you that have been following my NaNo journey, I participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) the entire month of November. You can follow my journey here. The goal is to write 50k words in 30 days. Well, I did it! Drained as I may be from it all, I was able to reach over 50,000 words before the end of November. That was with writing approximately 1,700 words a day! Talk about a lot of dedication. I’m so proud of my accomplishment this past month, but I’m getting sidetracked and my wrap-up about how happy I am about this accomplishment can be found here!

Because NaNo took up practically all of my free time the last month, my reading took a very big hit. So this post is going to be pretty short, but I regret nothing!

I didn’t have a TBR list for November, but you can check out my October reviews here!

(All books are linked to my review. Some book reviews have not been posted, but they will be posted soon!)

I Finished:

Undeniable (Seven Years Gone #3) – Liz Iavorschi-Braun

The Sun and Her Flowers – Rupi Kaur

Waste of Space – Gina Damico (coming soon!)

Reviews Published from Previously Read Books:

Illuminae (Illuminae Files #1) – Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Current Read:

Wave Rider – Rebecca Pott Fitton

Stalking Jack the Ripper – Kerri Maniscalco

Rolling TBR:

I don’t want to forget about the great books that I put on my list. I put them on my list, but either didn’t get to them or they have yet to be published and that means I can’t wait to get them when they’re released. These books include:

Girl in the Snow – Danya Kukafka

Salt to the Sea – Ruta Sepetys

The Scent of Salt and Sand – Kristin Cast & P.C. Cast

Plank’s Law – Lesley Choyce

The Loneliest Girl in the Universe – Lauren James

This month was a slow reading month, but I wrote a book instead! I know December will be yet another busy month as I work on my final edits for my fourth book Not Like Everyone Else (the synopsis can be found here), and the holiday festivities (parties and food galore😋). I think that I’ll be able to accomplish a lot more than November because I won’t be writing as much, but only time will tell! Next week I’ll be posting my TBR list for December so stay tuned!

What did you accomplish this month? Are you happy about it? Let me know in the comments below!

    1. Thank you! 😊 NaNo takes a lot of energy but you can always set a lower goal for yourself and work towards that. I know its hard to participate when you’re busy.

      1. Yeah. My friend told me about it years ago while we were still in college. One of my life goals is to write a book even if only my family and friends are the only ones who read it lol.

What do you think?
