Topping off 2017 – A Wrap-Up

4 Comments on Topping off 2017 – A Wrap-Up

It’s been a crazy 6 months since I’ve started this blog. Learning the ins and outs of the blogging community. Learning that the blogging community is HUGE! And reading. Lots of reading. Also lots of writing. I love everything that I have done this year with my blog and my writing. It feels as if everything has gotten stronger for me.

With 2017 wrapping up at the end of this week, I figured a nice little wrap up is the way to go. All books linked to my reviews.

It's A 2017 Wrap

Top Stats 2017

35 book reviews

Top Read Books 2017

(In no particular order because they are all amazing.)

First Came Forever – Annie Woods

I Am More Than A Daydream – Jennae Cecelia

Seven Years Gone series – Liz Iavorschi-Braun

Loved – P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

Skyscraping – Cordelia Jensen

The princess saves herself in this one – Amanda Lovelace

One of Us is Lying – Karen M. McManus

Uncaged Wallflower – Jennae Cecelia

Illuminae – Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Stalking Jack the Ripper – Kerri Maniscalco

Narrowing down this list has to have been the hardest thing I’ve done on this blog. I’ve read so many amazing books, but in an effort to not post all of them I limited myself to just 10. I’m finding now that that is particularly cruel. Click to see all of the reviews by author or by genre. I guarantee there are some pretty amazing books there that are not on this list of amazing books.

My First Book Review Request

Aaru – David Meredith

I was so honored to have been asked to review a book within the first 2 months of blogging. It was such a fun experience.

My Favorite Post Written

Picking one post is very hard because anything that I write I enjoy. However, I think my favorite post would have to be Prepping For NaNoWriMo 2017: What Should I Write? I had a lot of fun writing this post, and it felt so good to get feedback from people about my ideas.

My Favorite Memory

Meeting so many amazing bloggers and authors this year! Some honorable mentions are Jenn, Danielle, Elise, HannahKaren, LacyAnnie, and Liz. Thank you all for being so amazing this year!

So that’s it! That is my 2017 in a small wrap-up. As the new year rolls in, I do plan on making some changes to my blog. Mainly design wise. I can’t wait to see what 2018 brings.

Is there anything you want to see from me in 2018? Something you wish I didn’t do anymore? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I know right, it’s so hard to pick the best ones… That’s why I didn’t really make a list xD I sort of did but.. Not like a 10 list. Just… no, don’t make me decide! LOL
But I absolutely loved Illuminae too 🙂

    1. I may have made a list but if I could put all of the books I’ve read this year on it I probably would! 😊

What do you think?
