Bookish Naughty List Tag

With Christmas only a few days away, I thought it would be a great time to publish this lovely tag by the even more lovely Jenn at Jenniely! Go check her out pronto!

Bookish Naughty List tag

It’s been a pretty chill year for me, as I just got back into reading in June and started my blog in July. However, I can guarantee I probably have some naughty tendencies when it comes to books!

Rules:

  • Link to the person who tagged you.
  • Link to Jenn’s post
  • Check off the ones you’ve done
  • Tag 10 people to enjoy this tag.

So let’s see if I’ve been Naughty or Nice!

Received an ARC and not reviewed it

I haven’t done this yet, but I’m sure I will end up doing it eventually.

Have less than 60% feedback rating on Netgalley

Honestly, I don’t have Netgalley. I’ve been meaning to sign-up but I keep getting sidetracked. Does that make me naughty? 😅

Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did) ✔

Probably. I usually forget to go back and check.

Folded down the page of a book

I can’t remember the last time I’ve intentionally done this, but I know I have in the past.

Accidentally spilled on a book

Nope! But one time when I was extremely young, I left a book outside in the rain…

DNF a book this year

It’s hard for me to DNF so I usually don’t. Luckily, this year I only read struggled through 2 books.

Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it ✔

All the time. When a cover stands out, I must have it! No regrets!

Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework)✔

The urge to read is a lot bigger than doing anything else important.

Skim read a book ✔

I like reading dialog more than long chunks of text especially when the scene is getting good. Sometimes I skip right to the text just so I know what will happen next.

Completely missed your Goodreads goal

I can proudly say that I completed my Goodreads challenge this year! This is a first for me, as I usually am very far off from my goal.

Borrowed a book and not returned it ✔

Yes. I borrowed my mom’s Silent Prey book by John Sandford and never returned it. She went out and bought another one thinking she just didn’t have it. Whoops!

Broke a book buying ban

Nope! I’ve never put myself on a book buying ban because then I would want to buy more books.

Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about ✔

Yes, but only about a week after! If I didn’t take notes, I would never be able to get a review done.

Wrote in a book you were reading ✔

It was only once. This year. But it was for my class. I needed to point out the key information so it would be easy to go back and write a paper on it. It was only highlighting with a few pen marks. But in my defense, I bought the book used and there was already writing in it.

Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads ✔

All the time! I’m constantly going back and adding books that I read months or even years ago. I have gotten better with the books I blog about though.

I TAG!

Danielle

Fanna

Meg

Karen Jo

Linda

Elise

I know it’s not 10 people. But my brain isn’t working so I tag anyone else that wants to do this I think you’ll enjoy it too!

Well, that’s all. It was so much fun doing this tag. I think I may be on the bookish naughty list this year. But I’ll work harder to be better in 2018!

What are you’re bookish naughty habits? Are you on the naughty list? Let me know in the comments below!
