Today marks the first post of the Bound to Writing blog! I am both excited and nervous all at the same time. It is not every day that you hit a new milestone in your life.
The feeling of clicking the post button for the very first of (hopefully) many times is a joyous occasion. Because this first post will always be the first post for the Bound to Writing blog. The very first thing ever written, and the very first thing that people will see written by me!
My name is Jennifer (you can find out a lot more about me in the About Me!) and I am the author of the Bound to Writing blog.
As the name insinuates, this blog is going to be about books. Reading and reviewing young adult books. Providing the pros and cons I find with each book, and providing an overall rating (rated based on this scale) of the book itself.
However, that is not the only thing that I plan on talking about. You see, I am not only a blogger but also an author. I have written three books to date (available for sale here), and have finished the first draft of my fourth.
What got me into writing though, was National Novel Writing Month (Nanowrimo) which runs every November. This amazing nonprofit organization provides a creative platform that helps people push themselves to write the book that is inside them. And this month I will be participating in Camp Nanowrimo (which runs in April and July every year)!! Through this blog, I will keep you updated on my journey and hopefully obtain my goal of completely editing my fourth novel or at least editing for 40 hours in the month of July! And then in November, I will be back at it again trying my hand at another book over 50,000 words!
So let’s start turning some pages and see just where those pages will take us!
